Shalini Narrain is a whirlwind of a character and Krukid, her fashion label, needed to be equally eccentric. As we began with wild, droopy illustrations and freeform bubble text, the artwork gradually morphed into a clear, composed structure. The boxed design contains what is perhaps the method to her madness - going from straight to topsy-turvy or topsy-turvy to straight. To attach a personal stamp from the artist, a star was introduced in between the letters ‘u’ and ‘i. The star can be viewed straight whilst turning the logotype on its head.
