Gulu Naami and The Power of the Triad by Janaki Murali

The book Gulu Naami is set in an environment that has never been used before in children’s fantasy. This first book in the series involves a strong central character and three supporting characters. The objective was to have children look at the cover and identify with the characters immediately. With inputs from the author, we created cover art that was inspired by a scene from the story. Illustrated by Vinay Daniel, the book also contains a map that familiarises readers with the locales mentioned in the book.
